CFE is all about Relationship Building…

Relationships are at the very heart of CFE:
Leaders are notorious for investing much into much but little into relationships! The paradigm has to shift because without relationships there is no future! God turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends (Job 42:10.) there is importance attached to this… Too many are lost from the ministry. Each year the statistics show that at an alarming rate ministers are leaving the ministry... We believe that God has put His pattern on our hearts to provide opportunity for leaders to develop lasting relationships. Acquaintances are plentiful but what about true friends? When you ask yourself,“Do I have any friends?” What does your answer reveal; a lack of friends or a lack of investment?

Friends are people you would die for and who would die for you; in Daniel 3:22-28 we saw 3 Jewish friends, Meshach, Shadrach and Abed-Nego who did not turn on one another in crisis or compete, compare or question each other’s integrity! They stood together. True friends can be counted on one hand but will stick closer than brothers. Yet true relationships can not be established without effort. Relationships are formed for different purposes and CFE is a platform which allows God to do what He does best “NETWORKING!” bringing people together by His Spirit from all over the world.  

Obscurity and loneliness are bi-products of ministry. Many great ministers have died friendless, penniless and hopeless… No matter how grandeur the vision it is far less enjoyable if walked alone! Who is celebrating your victories and successes with you? Who is laughing with you? Many will be willing to pray for you and even cry with you but not many will share the joy of your victories!

CFE is a forum where genuine relationships can be started. Recognition from others diminishes the nakedness! Even though all relationships are costly they are priceless… to have your back covered, it’s worth everything! True friends defend you and walk through the fire of persecution with you in covenant strength. Therefore CFE encourages you to take quality time for yourself, to get way from the familiar and initiate some quality relationships…

CFE is a servant’s ministry; celebrating Gods men and Gods women. Not everyone in ministry is hurting or lonely and CFE is not a platform for the wounded and limping. Most leaders are successful. But even in success if you forget to forge out those strong relationships, one day the deficit will show. It is a rude shock to discover you are friendless! Take the time today to invest for tomorrow…
